Case studies
We work across a wide range of sectors, from healthcare and hospitality, to education, retail and Government. Our experience of delivering passive protection ranges from offices and museums, to schools, hospitals and residential buildings. Long contracts are a norm for us.

Working within public services, our staff provide passive fire protection in communal areas, installing risers, maintaining fire doors and installing loft hatches. We are also well-used to working around the needs of often elderly or vulnerable residents.
Take a look at a sample of our case studies below.

EDUCATION SECTOR
Client: MBC
Location: University of Manchester
Scope of Works: Passive fire protection for multiple properties
This case study details the replacement of fire seals across multiple buildings at the University of Manchester, including key cultural institutions like the Manchester Museum and Art Gallery. The project was initiated after new data cables were installed, which required breaches in existing fire barriers. Our task was to restore the integrity of these fire barriers by installing new, advanced fire seals. The project posed logistical challenges due to the need to work around the academic calendar and public access hours, ensuring minimal disruption to university operations and visitor experiences. Successfully completed within the planned timeline, this initiative significantly reinforced fire safety across the university's facilities, ensuring compliance with the latest fire safety standards and enhancing protection for both people and valuable assets.
